Biographical Information:

Robert was born on 31st January 1919. He was the third son of John and Elizabeth Garroway, of 27 Rose Street, Dunfermline, Fife, Scotland. He was educated at the Commercial School, Dunfermline and is believed to have served approxiamtely two years in the Navy. He was 22 years old at the time of his loss.
