Biographical Information:

Leslie was born on 18th April 1920 in Portsmouth, Hampshire to Leading Seaman George Glass, R.N., and Rosa Glass. He attended The Royal Hospital School, Holbrook from June 1932 to December 1935. He entered the Navy and was trained at H.M.S. St. Vincent. He was 21 years old at the time of his loss.
