Biographical Information:

Alan was born on 26th August 1923 to William and Hannah Guest, of Bilston, Staffordshire. He is known to have been the best friend of James Goodall. His action station at the time of Hood's sinking was the 15" Transmitting Station. He was 17 years old at the time of his loss.
