Biographical Information:

"Eddy" as he was known to his friends, was born on 29th January 1906 in Coatbridge, Lanarkshire to John and Elizabeth Hannaway. He was the husband of Mary Hannaway, of Gairbraid Terrace, Bargeddie, Lanarkshire. Together they had a son, John, and a daughter, Maureen. Eddy was 35 years old at the time of his loss.
