Biographical Information:

Francis was born on 29th June 1908 in Highcliffe, Christchurch, Hampshire to Frederick and Louisa Hibbs. He worked as an engine cleaner before joining the Royal Marines in Southampton on 8th June 1928. He was the husband of Serena Hibbs, of Allbrook, Hampshire. He was serving as a Corporal (Temporary) and was 32 years old at the time of his loss.
