Biographical Information:

Reginald was born on 24th January 1918 in Poole, Dorset to Victor and Mary Howe. He was the husband of Phyllis Howe, of Parkstone, Dorsetshire.

He was known to have been assigned to a submarine prior to Hood. His family believes he missed the sailing of his sub and was assigned temporarily to Hood to backfill her normal crew. He was 23 years old at the time of his loss.
