Biographical Information:

Arthur, as he was known, was born on 29th July 1922 to Charles and Emily James, of Radford, Coventry, Warwickshire. His father passed away when he was young and his mother remarried (becoming Mrs Robinson). His family lived at 164 Treherne Road. He attended Spon Street School, where he was a cricketer. He was 18 years old at the time of his loss.
