Biographical Information:

Ken was born on 4th December 1912 in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire. He was the only son of Thomas and Gertrude Javan of 267 Woodborough Rd. He was educated at High Pavement School. He was the husband of Vera Javan and father of Keith Graham Javan, of 19 Bonnington Crescent, Sherwood.

Ken worked as assistant superintendent for an insurance company prior to joining the Navy in January 1941. He was 28 years old at the time of his loss.
