Biographical Information:

Walter was born on 27th March 1906 in Ryde, Isle of Wight to parents Walter and Ada Jennings. He attended The Royal Hospital School, Holbrook from September 1917 to September 1921. He entered the Navy and was trained at H.M.S.Ganges.

He was the husband of Florence Jennings, of Gosport, Hampshire. Together they had a daughter named Joan. He was 35 years old at the time of his loss.
