Biographical Information:

Robert was born on 2nd May 1923 in Lanchester, County Durham to William and Annie Keers. The family lived in Craghead, County Durham until moving to 146 Fir Tree Avenue, Conventry circa 1937.

Robert briefly worked at the Standard Works before joining the Navy. He was 18 years old at the time of his loss.
