Biographical Information:

Robert was born on 27th April 1903 in Londonderry, County Londonderry, Northern Ireland to James and Margaret Kelly. He was the husband of Matilda Kelly, of Culmore, County Londonderry. He joined the Royal Navy on 21st January 1926. Robert was serving as an Acting Stoker Petty Officer(however, his family states that he was fully promoted as of 21 May 1941). He was 38 years old at the time of his loss.
