Biographical Information:

Harold was born on 16th November 1906 in Farnham, Aldershot, Hampshire. He was the husband of Jessie Markey, of Rhostyllen, Denbighshire, Wales. He was 34 years old at the time of his loss.

Harold joined the Royal Navy of 31st August 1926 as a stoker, serving under the number KX77020. In 1934 he transferred to become a joiner - a trade in which he had worked before joining the Navy.
