Biographical Information:

Wally, as he was known, was born on 24th February 1913 in Doncaster, Yorkshire to William and Sarah McDonald. The family later lived in Maryport, Cumberland. He is known to have had an older sister, Flora.

Wally was 28 years old at the time of his loss.
