Biographical Information:

"Alec" as he was known, was born on 7th July 1920. He was one of five sons born to James McLean of St. Anne, Alderney, Channel Islands. Alec and his brother Len both served in the Royal Navy. Alec was serving as an Acting Leading Stoker (Temporary) and was 20 years old at the time of his loss.
