Biographical Information:

Frederick was born on 5th July 1923 in the tiny hamlet of Budby in Southwell parish, Nottinghamshire, to Alice Winifred May Mendham. He is commemorated on the Budby war memorial. The family later lived in Skegness, Lincolnshire. His cousin Wilfred Albert Mendham, also of Budby, died in 1942 with the RAF in Eygpt.

Frederick was 17 years old at the time of his loss. We have no additional information.
