Biographical Information:

Arthur was born on 24th April 1919 in Birmingham, Warwickshire to Joseph and A. Oldershaw. The family actually lived in Harborne, Warwickshire. Arthur served as caddy for a professional golfer, when he was actually quite an excellent golfer himself. Sadly, he was due to be married when Hood was called away to pursue Bismarck. He was 22 years old at the time of his loss.
