Biographical Information:

Owen was born on 6th December 1922 to Thomas and Florence O'Neil, of Flint, Flintshire, Wales. He was the second of four sons, the others being Charlie, Arthur and George. Owen was known to have been an all-round sportsman, who excelled in boxing and sprinting. He was 20 years old at the time of his loss.
