Biographical Information:

Walter was born on 19th January 1918 to parents Stanley and Gertrude Orrell, of 313 Allesley Old Road, Coventry. He was their only son. He was the proprietor of Maudslay Hardware Co. Ltd.. He joined the Marines on 29th April 1940. He was 23 years old at the time of his loss.
