Biographical Information:

Geoffrey was born on 14th July 1900 in Hoyland, Yorkshire. He was fondly remembered in the Portsmouth Evening News in 1941 as "a most resourceful and knowledgeable man, and seldom did he fail to find us the fresh provisions at the most unlikely spots." Actor Jon Pertwee (of "Doctor Who" fame) also remembered him fondly as a close friend during his time in Hood.

Geoffrey was 40 years old at the time of his loss.
