Biographical Information:

William was born on 21st March 1900 in Portsmouth, Hampshire to William and Harriet Price. He was the husband of Edna Price, of North End, Portsmouth. Together they had three children. He originally served in the Navy as a rating (service number M8894), but eventually became a warrant officer.

William was a member of Hood's crew for about three years when she was sunk. He was 41 years old at the time of his loss.
