Biographical Information:

Peter was born on 20th July 1923 to Phyllis Rootham, of Kettering, Northamptonshire. He was educated at the Kettering Central School and was known to excel in football and swimming. He joined the Navy in March 1938.

He was 17 years old at the time of his loss.
