Biographical Information:

"Sandy", as he was known, was born on 26th June 1921 to Harry and Dorothy Sanderson, of Chichester, Sussex. He trained at H.M.S. St. Vincent before being drafted to Hood in 1939. He was 19 years old at the time of his loss.
