Biographical Information:

James was born on 2nd February 1913 in Wokingham, Surrey. He was the husband of Rose Saunders, of Bush Hill Park, Middlesex. Together they had two children.

James worked on the Lincoln Road A.R.P. post's demolition squad. He was an excellent footballer, playing on Edmonton Invicta. He was also known to be an excellent pianist. He joined the Navy in mid 1940.

James was 28 years old at the time of his loss.
