Biographical Information:

Robert was born on 10th November 1922 in Cockpen, Midlothian, Scotland to John and Ellen Sayers. The family later lived in Stobhill. Some family members believe him to have been a year and a half younger than officially listed (awaiting proof/verification). He was 18 years old at the time of his loss.
