Biographical Information:

William was born on 29th February 1920 in Christchurch, London to Harry and Maude Sims. The family lived in Chobham, Surrey. He was serving as an Acting Engine Room Artificer 4th Class at the time of Hood's final mission. He was 21 years old at the time of his loss.
