Biographical Information:

Gordon was born on 27th October 1922 in Marske, Yorkshire to Claude and Edith Terry. The family lived at 16 Yeoman St, Redcar until 1933 when they moved to Shoreham-by-Sea, Sussex. He had a half-brother named Alonso Cyril. He attended the James MacKinley school. He was 18 years old at the time of his loss.
