Biographical Information:

William was born on 11th November 1911 in Hamburg, Germany to William and Caroline Townley. He was the husband of Dorothy Townley, of Openshaw, Lancashire. Together, they had one son, Terence who was born in 1937. He was 29 years old at the time of his loss.
