Biographical Information:

"Jeff" as he was known, was born on 15th July 1917 in Cirencester, Gloucestershire to Alfred and Alice Waterson (nee Batt). The family later lived in Wootton Bassett, Wiltshire. He was serving as an Acting Leading Stoker (Temporary) and was 23 years old at the time of his loss.
