Biographical Information:

Arthur was born 2nd April 1918 in Portsmouth, Hampshire to Lilian Matilda Laxen (formerly Wearn). He was the stepson of Edwin Laxen, retired Chief Petty Officer. He was married (for just a few weeks) to Hilda May Wearn nee Kewell of Fratton, Portsmouth. He was 23 years old at the time of his loss.
