Biographical Information:

Arthur was born on 6th October 1919 in Banbury, Oxford to parents Thomas and Helena Bridge. The family lived in Kingham, Oxfordshire. He entered the Navy to undergo wireless and telegraphy training in January 1940. Hood was his only ship. He was 21 years old at the time of his loss.
