Biographical Information:

Verdun, as he was known, was born on 24th November 1916 in Benwell, Northumberland to Jack and Jenny Wilson. The Wilson family lived at 138 Buddle Road, Newcastle. The family was large and Verdun had several siblings to include William, Doris, Clare, Les, Ken and Evelyn.

Verdun was the husband of M. Wilson, of Mitcham, Surrey. He was 24 years old at the time of his loss.
