Biographical Information:

Robert was the son of Thomas Browne and Ellen Browne. His father has served as a Lieutenant in the Dorset Regiment during the First World War and was later Archeacon of Ipswich. Robert attended Framlingham College, Suffolk from 1931- 1935. He was known to be a distinguished sportsman and very keen member of the college. He was on the signals staff. He was 23 years old at the time of his loss.
