Biographical Information:

Robert was the son of Thomas Browne, Archdeacon of Ipswich, and Ellen Browne, of Elmsett Rectory, Suffolk. He attended Framlingham College, Suffolk from 1931- 1935. He was known to be a distinguished sportsman and very keen member of the college. He was on the signals staff. He was 23 years old at the time of his loss.
