Biographical Information:

Herbert was born on 17th January 1915 to parents Samuel Buck, and of Beatrice Buck, of Portsmouth, Hampshire. His brother, Arthur Ernest James Buck was also lost in the sinking of Hood. Herbert was serving as an Acting Stoker Petty Officer (Temporary). He was 26 years old at the time of his loss. We have no additional information.
