John Benjamin Edgar Burckitt
Jack, as he was known, was born on 24th June 1909 in Foleshill, Warwickshire, the eldest son of David and Annie Burckitt. He had a younger sister and brother, Jessie-May and Henry James.
Jack was married to Edith Burckitt and together they had a daughter, Barbara, and a son, John (deceased). Jack has 4 grandchildren and 7 great-grandhildren.
Jack was 31 years old at the time of his loss.
