Biographical Information:

Lorrie, as he was known to his family and friends, was born on 24th September 1912 in Kidderminster, Worcestershire to Henry Crumpton and Mary Ann Curtis. He was the husband of Marjorie Crumpton, of Broadwaters, Kidderminster.

Lorrie was known to have spent some time in Canada as a lad. During that timeframe he was known to have used the surname "Curtis". He was known as an accomplished sportsman. He was 28 years old at the time of his loss.
