Biographical Information:

William was born on 26th August 1908 in Hebburn, County Durham. He and his wife lived at Harvey Street, Hebburn. Before the war he was a member of the Jarrow St John ambulance brigade. He is believed to have joined the Navy in late 1940.

William was 32 years old at the time of his loss.
