Biographical Information:

George was born on 22nd April 1907 to parents Fred and Mary Allott of Staincross, Barnsley, Yorkshire. He joined the Royal Marines on 29 June 1925. He was the husband of Gladys Allot, of Bitterne, Southampton.

George was 34 years old at the time of his loss.
