Biographical Information:

1941 Newfoundland flagAlbert was born on 9th January 1916 to William and Barbara Devereaux, of Ferryland, Newfoundland. He was a member of Newfoundland's 12th Contingent Royal Navy. He was trained at H.M.S. Ganges before serving in Hood. He was 25 years old at the time of his loss.
