Biographical Information:

Charlie as he was known, was born on 24th September 1905 in Portsmouth, Hampshire. He was one of 4 sons born to Richard and Emma Emery.

He later became the husband of Mary Jane Emery, of North End, Portsmouth. Together, they had one son (also named Richard Charles). Charlie was 35 years old at the time of his loss.
