Biographical Information:

William born on 2nd September 1911 in Kingston, Surrey to parents Walter and Mary Arnold. He was the husband of Faith Arnold, of Portsmouth, Hampshire. William was an expert darts player and was a member of Hood's champion Stokers' Darts Team in 1938. He was serving in Hood as an Acting Stoker Petty Officer (Temporary). He was 29 years old at the time of his loss.
