Biographical Information:

Ralph was born on 29th July 1917 in Kings Point, Newfoundland to George and Vickey Foster of Corner Brook, Newfoundland. He was a member of the Newfoundland Overseas Forestry Unit (NOFU No. 0034) and was later transferred to the Royal Navy. Hood is believed to have been his only ship. He was 23 years old at the time of his loss.
