Above- Hood in rough seas circa 1931-1932. Such seas wrought havoc on her Fairey IIIF floatplane.

Above- The April 1936 edition of "Ashore and Afloat". Hood's football (soccer) team is shown posing by the After Superstructure. Note the canvas covered windows behind them. Among the men here is Royal Marine Sergeant A.A.Raven.
