The following photographs were sent in to the site by Bob Cross. They are from the collection of Fred Cross who served in Hood during the mid 1930s.

Above- Fred Cross (circled) and mates from Hood, 1935
Above- Hood at sea sometime in 1935 or 1936. In the background you can see either the battleship Rodney ("baaa") or its sister, the Nelson
Above- Spanish warship "Miguel Cervantes"
Above- After leaving Hood, Fred was stationed aboard H.M.S. Royal Oak.
He was one of the fortunate men to have survived it's tragic sinking at Scapa Flow.
