Photos & Graphics of H.M.S. Hood
The Willis Photo Collection
Updated 07-May-2014

The following photographs were donated to the site by David Willis. They are from the collection of his late father, Sam Willis. Sam served in Hood from 06 May 1933 to 29 August 1935 as a Chief Ordnance Artificer. The majority of the photos date from the period of his service. Some appear to have been taken by or for Sam, whereas others are clearly "stock" shots taken by a shipboard photographer and sold aboard ship. The descriptions are largely those entered by Sam in the original album.

Important Notice: These photos may not be republished or reposted elsewhere in any format without the express permission of the Willis family.
