The following photographs were sent in to the site by Barrie Knowles. They are from the collection of his father, Able Seaman William Knowles. William served in Hood from 7 January 1926 to 27 August 1927 and was a member of her championship rowing teams.

The bowman was sick the day this photo was taken, so the team is shown here short one man.
