Biographical Information: Philip was born on 18th September 1920 to George and Lillie Ball of Salisbury. He was the husband of Isabella Ball. He entered the Navy on 10th October 1939 and was posted to H.M.S. Hood the following February. He was 20 years old at the time of his loss.
