Biographical Information:

Archibald was born on 24th May 1903 at Portsmouth, Hampshire to parents Archibald and Elizabeth Bartley. He attended The Royal Hospital School, Holbrook from January 1915 to November 1918. He joined the Navy and was trained at H.M.S. Ganges. He was the husband of Mabel Bartley, of North Kilworth, Leicestershire. He was lost on his 38th birthday.
