Biographical Information: Reginald was born on 26th November 1922 in Portsea, Portsmouth, Hampshire to Mr. and Mrs. H.H. Laidman. He attended The Royal Hospital School, Holbrook from May 1934 to May 1938. He entered the Navy and was trained at H.M.S. St. Vincent. He was 18 years old at the time of his loss.
