Biographical Information:

Stanley was born on 18th June 1919 in Melksham, Wiltshire to Mrs. H. Mortimer. The family lived in nearby Trowbridge, Wiltshire. He was serving as a Stoker 1st Class and was 21 years old at the time of his loss.
