Biographical Information: Thomas was born on 17th February 1920 at 4 Donnington Park Road, Hampstead. His father was Frederick William Rawl Nichols and Kate Edith Nichols (nee Aldridge).
Thomas attended Sherborne School, Sherborne, Dorset. He later attended Queens College. He graduated from college in 1939. He was 21 years old at the time of his loss.
